As winter settles in gather around the roaring fire and set a fun and festive dessert affair. Here are our tips and favorite ingredients for throwing the perfect s’mores fête!

Add Seasonal Ingredients
The easiest way to take your s’mores to a new level is to up your chocolate game. We love using Williams Sonoma’s peppermint bark. While you are there make sure to pick up their s’mores maker!
We always include plenty of twinkling lights through votives for a warm, cozy glow! With a touch of festive fresh cut greenery peeking out from under the la chambra pottery this s’mores fête is ready for its guests!
1 1/4 ounce bourbon
1 ounce cherry liquor
1/2 ounce ginger liquor
Three shakes of bitters
Shake all ingredients together and pour over one square ice cube into a rocks glass. Garnish with a sliver of an orange slice and bourbon soaked cherries (see below).
Bourbon Soaked Cherries
Use one to two cups of bitter cherries (depending on how many cocktails you might want to make) and put them in a mason jar. Pour one cup of your favorite bourbon over the cherries and a half cup of ginger liquor. Finish by inserting one to two cinnamon sticks in the liquid and then close the jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake gently to mix all ingredients and then store in the refrigerator for up to a month. Some of this liquid can be used in the cocktail for an extra “kick”.
