Whether you are going to be celebrating with your favorite gal pals, the love of your life or a night with family, you can’t go wrong with a charcuterie board on Valentine’s Day! A little sweet, a little savory, full of variety and perfectly paired with wine.

How to Build the Ultimate Sweet and Savory Charcuterie Board

Produce: pears, grapes, blackberries, cranberries, olives

Cured Meats: prosciutto rolled in mozzarella

Dairy: smoked cheddar, brie

Other: walnuts, round bread loaf, seeded crackers, fig spread

We recommend starting with a white burgundy and then as the night progresses move to one our favorite lighter red wines, Four Graces. And for that “perfect” sweet we love swinging by Chocolata, where master chocolatier Kathy D'Agostino mixes diverse chocolate flavors with Earth’s seasonal bounty. Located in the heart of downtown Birmingham, all chocolates are especially blended to each flavor pairing while using carefully handcrafted recipes and intuition.
