A massive makeover is underway that will retain a Brookwood Forest home’s mid-century modern charm, while giving it a fresh twist. Currently the house has been taken down to the studs so we can re-imagine the space and find a balance between representing the period while creating something more functional to suit the family’s busy lifestyle.

The house was built in 1964 and is very much centered on a connection with the outdoors. The only owner was a master gardener, who customized the front and backyard with many special plantings and a vegetable garden. Our favorite details are the expansive panes of glass throughout the house that allow light to enter rooms from multiple angles.
